Use of the www.economat-armees.com website implies full acceptance of the general conditions of use described below. These conditions of use may be amended or supplemented at any time, and users are therefore advised to consult them regularly.
This site is normally accessible to users at all times. However, l’Economat des Armées may decide to interrupt the site for technical maintenance purposes, and will endeavour to minimise the impact on users as far as possible.
The general conditions of use may be modified at any time: they are nevertheless binding on the user, who is invited to refer to them as often as possible in order to review them.

1. Description of services provided

The purpose of the www.economat-armees.com website is to provide information concerning all of the establishment’s activities.
L’Economat des Armées endeavours to provide information that is as accurate as possible. However, it cannot be held responsible for any omissions, inaccuracies or failures to update information, whether these are its fault or the fault of third-party partners who provide it with this information.
All the information provided is given for guidance only and is subject to change. Furthermore, the information provided is not exhaustive. It is subject to changes having been made since it was put on line.

2. Intellectual property and counterfeiting

The Economat des Armées is the owner of the intellectual property rights or holds the rights of use on all the elements accessible on the site, in particular the texts, images, graphics, logos, icons, sounds, videos and software.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation of all or part of the elements of the site, whatever the means or process used, is prohibited, except with the prior written authorisation of the Economat des Armées.
Any unauthorised use of the site or of any of the elements it contains will be considered as constituting an infringement and will be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

3. Contractual limitations on technical data

Users of this site acknowledge that they have the skills and resources required to access and use it, and that they have checked that the computer configuration used does not contain any viruses and is in perfect working order.
The user acknowledges that he/she has been informed that this site is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except in cases of force majeure, computer difficulties, difficulties linked to the structure of communication networks or technical difficulties.
For maintenance reasons, the Economat des Armées may interrupt the site.

L’Economat des Armées may not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to the user’s equipment when accessing the www.economat-armees.com website, and resulting either from the use of equipment that does not meet the specifications indicated in point 3, or from the appearance of a bug or incompatibility.
L’Economat des Armées may also not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of its site or any hypertext link, including, but not limited to, any loss of data or programmes of any kind.
Interactive areas (possibility to ask questions in the “Contact us” section) are available to users. L’Economat des armées reserves the right to delete, without prior notice, any content posted in this area that contravenes the legislation applicable in France, in particular the provisions relating to data protection. Where applicable, the Economat des Armées also reserves the right to hold the user civilly and/or criminally liable, particularly in the event of messages of a racist, insulting, defamatory or pornographic nature, whatever the medium used (text, photographs, etc.).

5. Personal data management

The Economat des Armées complies with regulations relating to personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (RGPD) and Law No. 78-87 of 6 January 1978, known as the amended Data Protection Act. As such, it ensures the security, integrity and confidentiality of the personal data it collects on its site.

In any case, l’Economat des armées only collects personal information relating to the user for the purposes of certain services offered, in particular in the context of requests made by the user via the contact form. Users provide this information with full knowledge of the facts, particularly when they enter it themselves.

Personal information is kept for as long as necessary to process your request, unless :

  • the user exercises, under the conditions set out below, one of the rights granted to him or her by law ;
  • a longer retention period is authorised or imposed by virtue of a legal or regulatory provision.
    During this period, the site implements organisational, software, legal, technical and physical measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of the user’s personal data, so as to prevent damage, deletion or access by unauthorised third parties.

Access to the user’s personal data is strictly limited to employees authorised by virtue of their duties and bound by an obligation of confidentiality. However, the data collected may be communicated to subcontractors who are contractually responsible for carrying out the tasks necessary for the proper operation of the site. It is specified that, in the context of the performance of their services, subcontractors have only limited access to this data and are contractually obliged to use it in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data. Apart from the cases set out above, L’Economat des Armées undertakes not to sell, rent, transfer or give access to personal data to third parties without the user’s prior consent, unless it is obliged to do so for a legitimate reason (legal obligation, fight against fraud or abuse, exercise of defence rights, etc.).

In accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned texts, the user has the following rights:

You are entitled to information, access, rectification, deletion and portability of your personal data processed by the Commissariat des Armées. You may also request that this data be restricted and object to it being processed.

When you exercise your rights, our Data Protection Officer (DPO) will process your personal data for the purposes of managing your request (title, surname, first name, copy of identity document, nature of request, CV, covering letter, response given). This data is kept for a period of three (3) years, with the exception of the copy of your identity document, which is kept for one (1) year, and the CV and covering letter of unsuccessful applicants, which will be deleted 2 years after the last contact.

For any information or to exercise your rights concerning the processing of personal data managed by the Commissariat des Armées, you can contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) by accompanying your request with a copy of an identity document bearing your signature (identity card, passport):

6. Hyperlinks and cookies

The www.economat-armees.com site contains a number of hypertext links to other sites, set up with the authorisation of the Economat des Armées.
Cookies are used, as part of the use of the site, to collect certain information (in particular, the IP address, information relating to the computer used for browsing, the connection method, the type and version of the Internet browser, the operating system and other technical identifiers or the URL address of connections, including the date and time, as well as the content accessed). This information will only be used to monitor the volume, type and pattern of traffic using this site, to develop the design and layout of the site and for other administrative and planning purposes and generally to improve the service. Unless the user agrees, this information will not be kept for more than 13 months.

Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, each user agrees to comply with all local and international rules and procedures regarding online behavior and acceptable content, including all laws regarding the transmission of technical data.

At any time and for any reason, the Economat des Armées may implement any means to terminate, without notice, the user’s use of the site for any conduct violating these terms of use, without prejudice to any damages that the Economat des Armées reserves the right to claim from the user for non-compliance with the site’s terms and conditions.

8. Integral

In the event that one of the clauses of these GCU becomes null and void as a result of a change in legislation or regulations or by a court ruling, this will in no way affect the validity of or compliance with the other clauses of the GCU.

9. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Any dispute relating to the use of the www.economat-armees.com website is subject to French law. The competent courts of Paris have exclusive jurisdiction.
