The distribution of food and peri-food products is a historical activity of the EdA. In France or abroad and in foreign operations, the establishment meets the needs of its customers by ensuring their supply of various foodstuffs.

The outsourced management of military restaurants falls under the responsibility of the EdA which serves as an interface between the Ministry of the Armed Forces and collective catering companies.

EdA provides the armed forces with an engineering and sales department for collective catering equipment.

Camp management offers a very broad range of support to meet the needs of soldiers in operations.

The construction, renovation and maintenance of infrastructure are activities carried out by the EdA, in response to specific needs or at the request of the Ministry.

The logistics associated with the supply of the French armed forces is a historical and structuring activity of the Economat.

From the very beginnings of the Economat with the establishment of army cooperatives in 1916, the original mission of improving the daily lives of French soldiers has endured.

The EdA has developed private means of communication at attractive prices allowing soldiers to maintain a permanent link with their loved ones.

In collaboration with the bodies of the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the Economat provides multiple services by setting up projects and managing the operational coordination of public events, seminars, conferences and exercises in France and abroad.
